Oglesby & Butler, then the worlds leading manufacturer of portable herbal vaporizers (yes, those) sought out Thing Tank, and our brand/identity partners at Sequitur Creative to help them reinvent their category. Their previous vaporizer, the IOLITE, was a huge success; it was the best selling portable vaporizer on the market. But they had a hunch they could successfully reach out to a whole new demographic -- basically the sort of design-savvy, urban, lifestyle consumers who wouldn't be caught dead in a head shop. People who, given the option, would go bananas for a vaporizer that was entirely at home amongst all the other high-end devices they rely on daily.

RESULT/

Thing Tank’s distinctly un-gadgety, almost architectural take on the form and color palate took the market by storm--outselling the market leading Iolite from day one.  It was featured in The New York Times, Wired, Gizmodo, Core77, Apartment Therapy and many other publications and blogs.
